LSD’s community planners help communities shape their futures by listening to the voices of their citizens and translating what we hear into implementable planning documents that are politically supportable. LSD’s planners have prepared general land-use and special-purpose plans in urban, suburban, and rural settings. We have prepared sensitive area plans for recreation and open space; watershed and habitat protection; hazardous areas; and historic districts. LSD planners are also experienced in drafting, revising, and updating a wide variety of land-use regulations, including zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, and special-purpose regulations.
